5-Minute Bedtime Meditation – Let Go of the Day Before Sleep

Prepare for bed with this 5-Minute Bedtime Meditation. Let the day go, all the highs and lows, with this guided meditation. Get into a comfortable position with comfortable clothes before beginning this meditation. Make sure to turn out lights, TVs, and other extraneous noises that will take away from your focus. Get ready to empty your mind for a burden-free night’s sleep. Enjoy the soothing sounds of relaxing music as you prepare to drift off into sleep.

Meditating is important as it sets you up to improve your focus and release your stress. Your everyday life is stressful because you are making things happen. The least you could do is allow yourself a good night’s rest by letting your burdens go. They may still be there when you wake up, deal with them then. But for now, push them away and let your brain rest.

As you listen to this meditation, try to keep your focus on the words and the music. Stay present in the moment. If your mind starts to wander, that is okay. Just bring it back to the present moment and focus on the words and the music. Don’t get caught up in the thoughts about your day. Let it go and follow along with the meditation. Train your mind to stay focused on the words so you can release all negativity and anxiety that may keep you awake. Hone in on the positive words so you integrate them into your life.

Try listening to this 5-minute bedtime meditation quite a few times, and let me know what you think in the comments, Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.
