I am so excited to share my Medical School Journey with you! It has been a long road to even get to this point, but I finally have been accepted and start my program Fall 2020. It’s one thing to try and get into medical school, but it’s easier when you have an idea of what you’re getting into. By sharing my journey and what is going on, I hope to help you be more prepared as you turn in applications and start your own journey. These posts will be honest, reflective, and give you a true insight into the life of a med student. There are so many misconceptions and stereotypes associated with going to medical school. My blog hopes to deconstruct some of these myths with my own stories.
I also hope to be a source of entertainment. I am a pretty good story teller and hope to turn my misery into laughs for you. If possible, I also hope to inspire you future doctors and PreMeds. This process is hard and disheartening, but following my story may help you get through hard times. If you feel like you have a friend, then it makes the journey a little easier. But, I won’t just be sharing the good stuff. I will also be sharing my mistakes too so hopefully you can avoid those. As you embark on your journey, share your thoughts with me, and maybe we have some similarities. I want to know about your Medical School Journey as well so we can start a dialogue.
